Now that that's out of the way...

CONJI SATURDAY REVIEW
Saturday was hella wet and rainy haha, sucked for my make up job though, so scared my face was going to fall off (I didn't have my sealant on hand, I'd forgotten it).

I was almost to the Dealer's Hall when I hear people screaming for Princess Celestia. Which was my semi-cosplay of the day.

Set-up wise for my day, good. I got everything up and ready to go for my table (mostly. The PVC stand came later!). I had to be quick though, I had a panel at 11am on the dot.

Which brings me to my first GRR of the con: I gotta give Chaya one of the AA assistants a shout-out for helping me find the Sunrise Programming room, but FFS Conji- if you're going to label the rooms, REALLY label them, or don't use two names to confuse people. We asked a crowd of people where the room was, and they didn't realize they were standing in front of it til some dude watching the Mochi Maid Cafe said so!

So I run into the room at 11 on the nose to give a panel on make-up, tips and more to a small crowd of 20 people, that turned into 12-ish 30 minutes in. Was a little disappointing, but not bad I guess.

Til I found out that at the same time as my panel, you have two other stupidly huge panels (MLP:FiM to name one).

Cue GRR #2. WTF with putting such high volume panels all in a row? Like seriously? Couldn't some of that have been spread a bit more thinly? It was ridiculous to me.

Shoutout #2 to Riley, the guy who helped me get the mic set up for the panel. I hope the creep dressed as Trap!Miku didn't bust your balls.

That's another thing. Con staff shouldn't bust into the middle-end of a panel and get an attitude over shit. That was not really cool.

Love to all those who came to my panel, and those who came to me for advice and stuff afterwards.

Now, onto the actual AA portion of the con-day.

My table buddy, I love her much and wish I could have been with her all weekend but I couldn't. .-. But now she's addicted to a full table of space! Haha XD

Sales were okay, I didn't sell any prints on Saturday (Just on Friday and Sunday - the days I didn't GO lol). Just original commissions and my jewelry!

A lot of people actually remembered my charms and stuff from before and happily bought more. I was soooo fucking happy. Like, fucking giddy. I have to work harder and better now to make my repeat customers even happier.

Other artists in the alley were amazing too. I met and I gotta say, I can only hope that someday I can hold down a table like her. Finding a shit ton of other Kim's in the AA was great. Haha.

I blew most of my money (and profits XD) on stuff in the AA (what can I say, I give back?) and got some amazing folders from for a steal! Soaps from Rosaleen Dhu Designs, little laminated charm-things from Alyx Russ (I believe that was her name @_@)

I also saw my bud Charlie, who works for J-List/J-Box, sorry I didn't have tickets for you bud, soon though, soon (I hope).

I also went to the MLP:FiM photoshoot, after being begged to go by the Apple family (especially Apple Bloom). And there is a very... uhh... entertaining set of pics between the two of us too. Haha!

But then we got chased out of the room because the Homestuck BS next door caused a fire hazard. Fail.

I departed before I got gored by a troll and headed back to the Alley.

The rest of the day was quiet and fun and even when the hall closed it was even better. You see, they had this Portal voice announcing stuff during the course of the day (while playing awesome music too), and when the hall closed, the voice is all 'GET. OUT!' They also played Still Alive and had cute!GLADoS asking if we wanted an encore.

Of course we did.

Then me, and others went to Ruby's for dinner. Then home. I wish I could have went on Sunday too, but sadly nope! The weather got better. GRRR.

But the day I was there, it was okay. I missed most of the fuckery (thank god). Good show Conji. Try harder for 2013.

PS: I fail at life for not getting my friend Darryl to get David Gallagher's autograph for me. Oops.
